Introduction

The department teaching the stated subject is focused on training the graduating medical professionals in matters of the laws related to medical practice and to develop ethical insight and expertise so that, the overall standard of care may achieve excellence while aiding the legal system, in a developing country like Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must possess an MBBS/BDS degree/ equivalent degree (16 years education) from an HEC recognized university.
  • Minimum CGPA 2.00/4.00 or 60% marks in the undergraduate degree.

Admission Requirements

  • GAT conducted by Ziauddin University with a minimum score of 50%

OR

  • Valid GAT (NTS) with a minimum score of 50%.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed.

Scope

After going through this course, successfully, the candidate will be able to serve on the government positions within the Medicolegal system of the country.

The successful candidates serving as faculty members will have a better opportunity to be promoted as per rules and regulations of PM&DC.
